As the need for Dermatology providers continues to grow in Alabama, so does the number of PAs and NPs practicing in the specialty of Dermatology. Expanding access to dermatology care for the citizens of Alabama is the primary goal of our profession, and many dedicated Dermatology PAs and NPs have decided it is time to form a cohesive voice for our growing group. After many years, we are excited to have officially founded the Alabama Society of Dermatology Professionals.
The Primary Goals of the Alabama Society of Dermatology Professionals are as follows:
Allow dermatology PAs and NPs in Alabama to have a collective voice among the Dermatology community on the state and national levels
Act as a resource for all Dermatology PAs and NPs in the state of Alabama regarding state licensing & regulations, continuing education including available CME conferences, basic dermatology information for beginners, updates on new and upcoming dermatology treatments, and more…
Act as a central hub for communication among currently practicing PAs & NPs in Alabama, as well as PAs or NPs interested in the specialty of Dermatology.
Act as a forum for Dermatology PAs and NPs in Alabama to start conversations regarding hot topics, concerns, or questions pertaining to our profession
